Vice President Sara Duterte received at the Office of the Vice President, the Ambassador of the Republic of Finland, His Excellency, Juha Markus Pyykko.

In the meeting, the Vice President and the Ambassador talked about the reopening of the Philippine embassy in Helsinki next year. Finland's honorary consulates will also open in Cebu and Davao, bringing extensive trade and cultural opportunities.

Finland is known as one of the best in the education sector, having high rankings in global tests such as the Program for International Student Assessment (PISA).

The Vice President said the country is open to gaining lessons and inspiration from Finland’s unique experience in the field of education.
