Vice President Inday Sara Duterte welcomed the Ambassador of Japan, H.E. Endo Kazuya, in a courtesy call at the Office of the Vice President (OVP) Central Office in Mandaluyong City.

During their discussion, the Vice President and the Japanese Ambassador talked about the relationship between the Philippines and Japan. They also exchanged views on the Waste Energy Project initiated during the Vice President's tenure as Mayor of Davao City, as well as economic cooperation and the impending leadership transition in Japan.

The Vice President also emphasized the importance of international support, particularly from Japan, in partnership with the initiatives of the Philippine government, in creating a brighter future for the region.
