The Office of the Vice President-Disaster Operations Center distributed food packs to 260 fire volunteers responding to a fire incident in Barangays 95 and 105 in Tondo on December 21.
The fire volunteers include personnel from the Philippine National Police (PNP), the Bureau of Fire Protection, barangay officials, resident peacekeepers, traffic enforcers, and the First Aid Team.
The OVP ensures assistance is delivered not only to victims of calamities but also to responders.
