The Office of the Vice President Davao Satellite Office conducted a medical and dental mission called “Tambayayong sa Barangay Kibalabag” in Malaybalay City, Bukidnon, on November 11.

The activity was organized by the OVP in response to the request of Bukas Kalinaw, a group of former rebels who have returned to the government and are now partners in community development.

Over 400 youth and adults from Kibalabag and its neighboring barangays attended the medical and dental mission. Aside from medical consultations, many underwent procedures such as tooth extraction, cyst removal, lipoma removal, and wart removal. Some young boys also underwent circumcision. The OVP also provided free wheelchairs.

The attendees enjoyed a magic show, participated in games, and received gifts from the Davao Satellite Office team. The OVP expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed and provided services to our fellow citizens.

Special thanks to the Bukas Kalinaw, 403rd Brigade, 88th Infantry Battalion, 8th Infantry Battalion, 4th Infantry Division, and Eastern Mindanao Command, dentists from Davao City, doctors and nurses from Valencia City, Philippine Dental Mission - Happy Teeth Foundation Inc., 4th Infantry Division Medical Corps of Camp Evangelista Station Hospital, Barangay Health Workers, Officials of Barangay Kibalabag, the Vice-Presidential Security and Protection Group, and the Provincial Local Government Unit of Bukidnon.
