LUCENA CITY – The Office of the Vice President (OVP), through the Disaster Operations Center (DOC) distributed 2,000 relief bags (Non-Food Items) to 2,000 verified flooded families from six hard-hit Barangays in Lucena City following the recent onslaught of Typhoon Aghon.

The distribution was made possible through the assistance of the City Government of Lucena led by Mayor Mark Alcala and Vice Mayor Dondon Alcala.

Nineteen localities in Quezon Province were placed placed under State of Calamity after the devastation brought by Aghon.

OVP-DOC also deployed the Kalusugan Food Truck and served hot meals to 100 responders.
