OVP leads tree planting, coastal cleaning

Led by the Office of the Vice President (OVP) Caraga Satellite Office, a monumental environmental initiative took place with key stakeholders in Tandag City and the municipality of Tago, Surigao del Sur, on May 11.

Under the Combo Initiative banner, a total of 8,000 trees were planted with the assistance of the Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office - Surigao del Sur, Community Environment and Natural Resources Office, Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office of Tago, Northeastern Mindanao University (NEMSU) CWTS and ROTC cadets and instructors, and officials of Barangay Victoria in Tago.

Various environmental activities such as Tree Planting, Replanting, Caring, and Coastal Cleaning were also conducted.

This collective effort symbolizes a deep commitment to environmental preservation and stewardship of our natural resources.

The OVP Caraga Satellite Office extends its heartfelt gratitude to all the participants who dedicated their time and effort to make the activity successful.
