Vice President Sara Duterte was overjoyed to join various sectors in Bacolod City and many other parts of Negros Occidental last week to provide various assistance from the Office of the Vice President and partner agencies-- the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).
She turned over MagNegosyo Ta 'Day (MTD) grants to different qualified organizations. She also participated in the payout of the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS), Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged or Displaced Workers (TUPAD), and Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) to various beneficiaries.
The Vice President thanked employees of the DOLE, DSWD, and the OVP Satellite Office in Panay and Negros Islands, who helped in the successful distribution of assistance to those in need in Bacolod City.
In her message, the Vice President emphasized the importance of education and family planning, saying these are key to changing our lives.
