The Registered Social Workers (RSWs) of the Office of the Vice President participated in the 27th Asia Pacific Regional Conference 2023 held from November 5-7 at Waterfront Hotel, Salinas Drive, Lahug, Cebu City, and the Philippine Association of Social Workers, Inc. (PASWI) 75th Platinum Jubilee National Convention from November 8-10.

The crucial role of social workers in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations was tackled during the gathering.

The significance of the mental health of social workers and social service workers was also discussed.
