Vice President Sara Duterte shared with her social media followers her recent trek to Osmeña Peak and Lugsungan Peak, both in Cebu.
Curious followers had asked the VP if she had also been to Mt. Apo.
The VP has, in fact, climbed Mt. Apo four times already and the most recent trek was in May.
She said people planning to conquer the country’s highest peak should be physically and mentally prepared.
She also emphasized the “bring your own trash” rule being observed by responsible mountaineers.
