Vice President Sara Duterte joined residents of Santa Fe, Nueva Vizcaya, to celebrate the town fiesta and 26th Kalanguya Festival on March 13.
During the International Women’s Month, the Vice President was accompanied by various women's organizations from Santa Fe as they celebrate their vital roles in society. The groups were led by their town mayor, Liwayway Caramat.
In her message, the Vice President emphasized the significant contribution of women across all aspects of life, be it in homes, workplaces, or communities. She reminded everyone of the importance of diligence and resilience in overcoming life's challenges.
Santa Fe, a third-class municipality in Nueva Vizcaya, comprises 16 barangays. It is known for its products, such as brooms made from tambo grass and various vegetables like cauliflower, cabbage, ginger, and onions, among others.
The Vice President, who thanked the groups for inviting her to the event, advocated for collective efforts toward the continuous progress of Santa Fe, Nueva Vizcaya, and the entire Philippines.
