Vice President Sara Duterte attended the 78th Annual Convention of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) in Sorsogon City on November 23, 2023.

For the Vice President, CPAs play a significant role not only in the business sector but also in the country's growth. As experts, she said they are in the position to advocate for sound fiscal policies, promote transparency in government, and ensure accountability in the government's spending, contributing to the growth of the country's economy.

Duterte also thanked PICPA for inviting her to its convention.
