Vice President Sara Duterte said the Office of the Vice President and the Department of Education are thankful of the support they received from the members of the Senate during the 2024 budget deliberations.
She addressed the supportive senators as “friends” and particularly named Sen. Sonny Angara, OVP budget sponsor, and Sen. Pia Cayetano, DepEd budget sponsor.
She said the OVP and DepEd will be relentless in working for welfare of the Filipinos and the growth and development of the Philippines:
